This was my first project for Rawson Developers a while ago and still one of my favourites. I had to create a formal entrance and find a décor solution for the atrium. I was lucky to have access to recycled wood from the floor planks of the original houses on the property. A few of the labourers on the project created the wooden benches and pedastals to create a pause area for the very young tennant base. With pebbles from the nearby river we created a nice slick desk for the security personell and the big visual was the final touch to bring the river theme to the tennants. My gut feel shouted ‘red copper’ and at the time it was diffucult to find a reliable supplier but we succeeded with a red copper finish in all the reception areas.
